 Some mornings feel wonderful. No traffic on the way to the office. Morning jog feels like playtime. Even the coffee tastes better. But, some days are not like that at all. The sound of the alarm goes down, and then it starts the race to the finish line. Now, let see, you have to make breakfast, and get the kids ready for school, then pack the lunches.  After that, you have to drive all the way to the school and of course, reach your office before 8 a.m. meeting. Not so wonderful. In today’s article, we are going to suggest you some things you can do in the morning so you can make your whole day more productive and more positive.

Don’t’ think about yesterday!

 If you are stressing about things that happened yesterday, you are wasting your time.

Past can’t be changed, and instead thinking about things that went wrong yesterday, try to focus on how to make things better today. Be in the present!

Make a plan – The most productive and most positive thing you can do for yourself is to make a plan! Your daily plan should include the primary things you want to accomplish during the day.

Resist snooze button and don’t give yourself a few extra minutes!

It may seem like listening to your body, but in the long run, you’re doing more harm than good. You can try to set your alarm 15 minutes earlier than the actual time, and you will begin your day in a relaxed manner.

Drink water – If you need an energy boost drink a glass of water. It’s imperative to keep your body hydrated because your body needs hydration. We get dehydrated overnight, so you should drink enough water, and you can also add lemon, ice or cucumber because you will immediately boost the level of your energy.

Meditate to relax – Begin your day with meditation. You can do any meditation that works for you: visualize places or images, repeat a calming thought, a word or a phrase, and try to focus on exhaling and inhaling slowly.

Exercise – Exercise releases chemicals produced in the brain that help minimize discomfort and increased well being. You can start your daily routine with a morning jog or stretching moves.

A healthy breakfast – Starting your day with healthy food is one of the most energizing things you can do in the morning. Metabolism works better earlier in the day, and our bodies are better able to turn the calories we eat into energy that we can use in the morning.

Put your phone away and spend the morning with your family!

Don’t let checking your email to be the first thing the morning; take your time. Have breakfast with your family or call a friend who makes you smile. Being with people you love will serve up a big boost to your mood and energy levels.
