Every year, everybody should do a systematic review, which includes several necessary tests that eliminate cancer susceptibility.  Also, people should be doing blood tests to check the level of iron and the thyroid gland function. If someone has a genetic predisposition for cardiovascular disease, if they smoke, has excess weight, diabetes, or high blood pressure, the doctor will suggest EEG. Preventive examinations are performed by only a quarter of the population, which in the last two decades led to an increased mortality rate, and severe illnesses occur earlier in life.

After age 20

In this period, the level of cholesterol in the blood should be checked. If it’s normal, it needs to be tested in three years. Once a year, you need to go to the dentist. If someone has vision problems, contact an eye doctor. It is also desirable to regularly measure the pressure, and women once a month should examine their breasts themselves.

After age 30

The lipid level in the blood should be checked after 30 because the increased amount of fat is the primary cause of arteriosclerosis, which leads to heart disease. If the result is normal, do the control for a year. Women should continue with breast self-examination, and if someone in the family had breast cancer, they should go for an ultrasound examination too. About 35, people need to think about bones, which means sufficient calcium intake and exercise. Attention should also be paid to reproductive organs. If someone plans a pregnancy, it requires additional medical attention.

After age 40

Eye examinations should be made every two years. After 45, it is obligatory to do a detailed analysis of glaucoma. Blood pressure is needed to be controlled every year. If one level of cholesterol remains on average, it should be checked every five years.

At least every five years, complete a systematic review. At the age of 40, all women should go on a mammographic examination of breast once a year. Control the blood sugar level to prevent diabetes.

After age 50

A complete systematic review and vaccination against influenza should be done. Women should go to mammography once a year. Check the blood sugar level every three months. Menopause increases the risk of heart disease and osteoporosis, and therefore it is mandatory to do a bone density test. Thus, the degree of risk of osteoporosis and bone fracture can be determined. An ECG should be done annually. Also, a colonoscopy, an overview of the colon that eliminates the risk of developing polyps or carcinoma.
