Many people can remember some period of their lives in which they felt inferior, but if someone continually believes that they are not a good enough person, they may also have an inferiority complex.
Even though some psychologists think that feeling inferior can sometimes be motivating in some ways, it can also prove to be hard in your everyday life.

1. You always need validation.
Are you often asking other people about opinion for some things that you have done? Or when you have done something that was nice, do you need other people to compliment you on it?
That could derive from your childhood years if you did not receive praise from your mother and father. During that early stage of your life, pleasing your parents would have boosted your self-esteem. But, if your parents used to ignore you when you grew older, you would have to seek out this praise from others.
2. You are overly sensitive to the opinions of other people.
Do you often get upset when you hear that other people talk about you? Are you extremely sensitive to what others think about you? Do you feel like you cannot stand up for yourself when you hear somebody commenting about you? Also, do you take to heart anything that other people say against you, as well as continue worrying about it for weeks?
We all get a little upset if somebody has said something that is awful about us, this is natural. But, if you are stressing over something such as the smallest thing, then it can probably be a sign that you undergo an inferiority complex.
3. You put your needs at the last place.

6. You usually procrastinate.
Sometimes, it is hard for you to start new projects or tasks, right? Do you often put off what you can do tomorrow, and then when tomorrow comes, you cannot find some way of motivating yourself?
If you are a constant procrastinator, it may probably be because of your fear that whatever you are going to do will not be good enough, so why bother even beginning?
7. You withdraw from society.
A lot of people do not like to have to socialize often, and for many several reasons. However, if you withdraw from society, then you have to think why you do not want to go out.
It is because you do not want to hear with others have to say about you, or do you just know for a fact that you are not good enough? Do you fear that people are going to discover that you are no good and choose to stay indoors so that they never find out the truth about you? If you stay in to avoid comparisons, it is a great sign that you feel inferior.
8. You find faults with others.
As you know all about your faults, you also believe that you have a trained eye when it comes to the faults of other people. You may also want to find fault with others so that it will take your attention and focus away from you. As you already don’t feel that great about yourself, you also do not care if other people feel rubbish about themselves. And when others feel bad, it usually makes you feel better.
There exist some big difference between feeling inferior and being inferior. You should consider what your talents, as well as strengths, are and concentrate on those, instead of highlighting whatever weakness you believe you might have.
